Zero inductees for Cooperstown, MLBaseball's
Hall of Fame for the 8th time since 1936*.
(*Yahoo!Sports reports 16th-time since 1940.)
The last time this happened was 1996, and coincidentally, Barry Bonds was snubbed then, too, along w/ 6 other ball-players whom were later inducted (Phil, Niekro, Tony Perez, Don Sutton, Ron Santo, Jim Rice & Bruce Sutter***).

Maybe it's time for Cooperstown to consider creating
an Asterisk Society because of those eligible and snubbed
by members/writers-qualified to elect HoF inductees.

Whether it's Clemens, Bonds, Sosa or even re-visiting the conversation of Pete Rose being eligible for recognition in baseball's shrine for those whom love baseball and care to visit.

Sure, gambling & cheating isn't something everyone
should celebrate or smile about, but it's safe to say
World Champions (as well as League & Division winners)
whom receive recognition despite gaining an edge or
advantage over it's opponents due to incorrect calls.

And, who knows, perhaps you can create one of your
own for those passed-over today, and in year's past.
